TikTok creator @maddieunleashed says she was bullied by older coworkers for months before confronting one of them on July 24, 2026. In a video posted the following day, she questioned why colleagues in their 20s would want to make a teenage employee feel bad about herself.
The creator wondered whether her age and earning the same paycheck as her coworkers played a role in their behavior. She also suggested that the issue might not be unique to her, asking why some colleagues appeared determined to undermine younger workers.
After describing the confrontation, she said she felt good about standing up for herself. She encouraged viewers dealing with similar treatment from coworkers in their 20s or early 30s to address the behavior directly.
The video had received more than 112,600 views and 27,400 likes at the time of publication. Its comments included accounts from other users who said they had experienced criticism, favoritism or rude treatment at work.
One commenter recalled a former coworker repeatedly criticizing their appearance and makeup, while allegedly targeting an 18-year-old employee who received positive attention. Another said a colleague criticized the way they spoke with customers, despite positive reviews favoring friendly and talkative service.
A further commenter said they left a job after a manager’s rude behavior made them feel uncomfortable and sometimes brought them close to tears. They also claimed the manager favored people they had trained over them.
The Daily Dot said it could not independently verify the events described in the video. The accounts reflect statements made by the creator and commenters on TikTok.
