Wordle players solving puzzle #1962 on November 2, 2026, are looking for a five-letter word that begins with S. A further clue is that the letter O appears twice, while the hint is “Move over!”

The answer is SCOOT.

Wordle was created by engineer Josh Wardle as a gift for his partner before becoming a daily international puzzle. The game was later purchased by The New York Times, which also introduced a Wordle Archive for NYT Games subscribers after the original archive was removed.

Players looking for a strategic opening word can choose one containing at least two different vowels and common consonants such as S, T, R or N. For an additional challenge, Wordle also offers a Hard Mode.

A new puzzle will be available tomorrow.
