The 2026 U.S. midterm elections are taking place today, with votes still to be counted. Voters are weighing issues including the future of the Senate, climate policy, LGBTQ+ rights, taxes on billionaires and local concerns.
Online election hubs from major news organizations provide live updates as estimated vote counts come in. Trackers listed include those from the Associated Press, Bloomberg, NBC News, CNN, ABC, MSNow, FOX News, The New York Times, The Guardian and Al Jazeera. The New York Times also has a separate tracker for congressional seats.
These counts and race calls are unofficial. News outlets use different methods to calculate results, and states vary in when and how they report them, so trackers may not show identical updates.
For live coverage, viewers can follow major news outlets on cable and streaming services, or watch YouTube streams from CBS News, PBS NewsHour and NBC News Now.
