TikTok creator Allie, who posts as @katsuranotzura7, says an unexpected visit from a friend disrupted a family vacation in Chicago and ended with hotel staff asking her family to leave one night early. The friend’s children were also affected, Allie said. At the time of publication, her video had received 1.1 million views and 6,110 comments.

Allie said the trip was meant to be for her, her husband and their children. After she shared a Facebook post about the vacation, a friend arrived at the hotel while the family was at the pool, explaining that she had come to surprise them. Allie said she initially felt uneasy but agreed to spend time together because the children seemed pleased.

The situation worsened later that night, according to Allie. Around midnight, her friend asked her to keep her dog, Lulu, in the hotel room because a man the friend was seeing had allergies. Allie said her husband was allergic too, but she agreed. She said the dog whined through the night and she could not reach her friend.

The next day, Allie’s husband returned from the hotel restaurant upset, saying the man was there, drunk, and charging drinks to their room. Allie checked the hotel bill and said she found more than $85 in beer charges, dating from the day the family checked in through about 1 p.m. the following day.

Allie said an argument then broke out in the hotel room, with her confronting her friend and the man arguing with her husband. Her friend reportedly said she had told the man to put the drinks on Allie’s room because she could not remember their own room number and thought she could pay Allie back.

After another guest complained about the noise, hotel staff told Allie and her family they could stay that night but had to leave the next morning, one night earlier than planned. Allie said the hotel refunded them for the unused night.

The friend had bought nonrefundable tickets for the group to visit the Chicago aquarium, Allie said. She told her friend not to join them the next day, and later said she felt guilty because the friend’s children had been excited about the outing.

Commenters on the video criticized the friend, while some questioned whether the aquarium tickets had actually been purchased. The Daily Dot said it could not independently verify the claims in Allie’s video.
