TikTok creator SpicyNat, who posts as @lovespicycubes1, says she is no longer part of her best friend’s wedding after a series of disagreements that culminated during a bachelorette party. She had been due to serve as maid of honor and says she spent four months planning the celebration.
In a video about the situation, SpicyNat said the bride asked each bridesmaid to pay $400 for a dress. When one member of the bridal party said she could not afford that and planned to buy a similar dress in a different material, SpicyNat supported her. She says the bride then told the bridesmaid she would have to leave the wedding party unless she bought the requested dress.
According to SpicyNat, other bridesmaids also withdrew after that decision, reducing the group from 10 people to four. She says she subsequently stepped down, which would leave three bridesmaids and no maid of honor.
SpicyNat described the bachelorette party as involving a night out at clubs and a casino, with the group taking photos along the way. She said that, near the end of the evening, the group took products referred to as “spicy cubes,” which she described as being promoted as natural aphrodisiacs. When the group was preparing to leave, she said she could not find the bride.
SpicyNat says she found her friend in a bathroom cheating on her fiancé. She said the bride asked her to keep what she had seen secret, saying she wanted to enjoy her last moment of being single. SpicyNat said she objected, and the two argued before leaving in an Uber.
She later told her partner about the incident and said he suggested she inform the fiancé. In the video, SpicyNat asked viewers whether she should tell him or stay away from the wedding without explaining why the bridal party had shrunk.
Commenters were divided. Some argued that the fiancé should know before the wedding, while others said SpicyNat’s loyalty should be to her friend. Another suggestion was to give the bride the chance to tell him herself. Some commenters also criticized SpicyNat for sharing the story online before speaking to the fiancé privately.
The Daily Dot said it could not independently verify the claims, which are based on SpicyNat’s account in her video. At the time of publication, the video had received 1.9 million views and 1,397 comments.
