Black Friday is scheduled for Nov. 27, but discounts on headphones and AirPods are already appearing ahead of the shopping event. Although official sale dates have not been confirmed, several current offers are being described as competitive early deals.
The strongest offer highlighted is a $100 discount on the AirPods Max 2, although the deal is limited to the blue and purple versions at the time of writing. While these headphones are not considered the best option compared with other premium models in terms of price and features, they offer a distinctive design, solid sound quality and noise cancellation, particularly for Apple users. The discount brings their price to a more manageable level while Black Friday is still weeks away.
Other current AirPods offers include the AirPods 4 for $99, down from $129, representing a $30 saving. The AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation are listed at $119.97 instead of $179, a reduction of $59.04.
The AirPods Pro 3 are also discounted to $199 from $249, saving $50. However, this may not be the best time to buy them. The earbuds fell to $179 during October Prime Day and reached as low as $169 earlier in the year, making the current price reasonable but not especially attractive for shoppers willing to wait.
The AirPods 5 are another model to watch. The lower-priced version received only a small reduction in September, while the $149 model with wireless charging has not yet had a price cut. Because these are already considered Apple's best-value earbuds at their standard price, a more substantial reduction could appear closer to Black Friday.
