The November 5 edition of The New York Times’ word-search game Strands centers on phrases that use the word “break.” The theme hint is “Handle with care,” and the answers include Faith, Ground, Bread, Wind, Dancing and Character.

Strands asks players to connect letters in any direction, including diagonally, and its words can turn across the grid. Every letter belongs to an answer. Each puzzle also includes a spangram—a word or phrase that sums up the theme and spans the grid horizontally or vertically.

Today’s spangram is “Give me a break,” and it runs vertically. All of the puzzle’s answers are Faith, Ground, Bread, Wind, Dancing, Character and the spangram.
