The New York Times’ Connections puzzle for November 3 asks players to sort 16 words into four groups of four based on shared links. The clues point to moving forward, things with wheels, items a restaurant server brings and words that end in menu-bar headings.
For players still working through the puzzle, the groups are: “Keep going,” “Things with wheels,” “Things a server brings at a restaurant” and “Ending in menu bar headings.”
The answers are CARRY ON, CONTINUE, PROCEED and RESUME for “Keep going”; OFFICE CHAIR, ROLLER BAG, SHOPPING CART and STROLLER for “Things with wheels”; and CHECK, FOOD, MENU and TAP WATER for “Things a server brings at a restaurant.” The final group is CREDIT, INTERVIEW, PROFILE and WHELP.
Connections is a daily word game in which players identify four sets of related words from a board of 16. Correctly solved words disappear from the board, while players can make up to four mistakes before the game ends. The groups are color-coded by difficulty, from yellow to purple.
