Apple has released the iOS 27.3 beta with updates across Health, Safari, Siri and StandBy. The changes include features that had not been expected in the latest iPhone beta, according to the supplied report.

The redesigned Health app, which Apple had removed from an earlier developer beta, is back. It integrates Apple Intelligence, updates the interface to make some categories easier to reach, and offers predictive insights into long-term health trends based on activity and sleep patterns. New features include Health Age and movement assessments.

Safari now offers Vertical Tabs, which display open tabs in a menu on the left rather than in a row across the top. Users can choose to show tabs as icons or full page titles. The setting is available under Safari in the iPhone’s Settings app. Safari also gains Adaptive Dark Mode, which can apply a dark appearance to web pages that do not support the feature themselves.

Siri AI can now handle more complex requests involving Apple apps, including organizing files, scheduling messages and creating personalized playlists. The app actions work with Calendar, Files, Finder, Journal, Mail, Maps, Messages, Music, Notes, Photos, Preview, Reminders, Safari, Shortcuts and Weather. Siri AI also adds Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, Turkish and Norwegian.

StandBy has updated Analog and Digital Clock faces with more customization options, as well as new Calendar and Weather faces. Users can select Shared Albums for a Photos face and swipe between multiple versions of each face. The report says these updated capabilities, previously available on iPhone Duo, are coming to other iPhone models.

The beta also adds Gym Strength workouts to Apple Fitness+. iPhone Duo users get a Reachability option that switches the left and right sides of the screen, addressing one-handed use issues noted by some users.
